What we collect

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password (securely hashed). When you use the service, we store the estimates, invoices, client information, and company details you create. We also collect basic usage data (pages visited, features used) to improve the product.

How we use your data

Your data is used to provide the EstimateDone service — generating estimates, sending emails to your clients, and displaying your company branding on documents. We do not sell your data to third parties. We may use anonymized, aggregated data to improve our AI and product features.

AI processing

When you use our AI estimate generation feature, your job descriptions are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) for processing. This data is used only to generate your estimate and is not stored by the AI provider for training purposes.

Data storage & security

Your data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms. We use secure, authenticated sessions. Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel only.

Third-party services

We use the following third-party services to operate EstimateDone:

• Anthropic (AI estimate generation)
• Stripe (payment processing)
• Resend (transactional email delivery)
• Vercel (hosting and infrastructure)

Each provider has their own privacy policy. We only share the minimum data necessary for each service to function.

Your rights

You can export or delete your data at any time by contacting us. You can close your account and we will delete your data within 30 days. If you are in the EU, you have additional rights under GDPR including the right to access, rectify, and erase your personal data.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to maintain your login session. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.
